Music plays a vital role throughout the course of a wedding day. From what’s playing in the background while the couple get ready, what’s playing when the guests arrive, bridal party introductions, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, and of course, the first dance of the Bride and Groom. Do we make it very personal? Do we cater to the audience? Do we go uptempo? downtempo? Classic? Contemporary? From my experience and heart strings, here are a few that seemed to set the mood and bring the couple together for a sweet moment.
Ed Sheeran – “Thinking out loud”
“And darling I will be loving you ’til we’re 70
And baby my heart could still fall as hard at 23.”

Sam Smith – “How will I know (cover)”
“How will I know if you’re thinking of me?
I try to phone but I’m too shy, can’t speak.
Falling in love is all bittersweet. This love is strong. Why do I feel weak?”

Etta James – “At last”
“At last
My love has come along
My lonely days are over
And life is like a song.”

Jodeci – “Good luv”

There’s only one thing I have to say
You give good luv”

He’d trade the world for a good thing he’s found.”
